The Bird in Hand

219 High St N, Dunstable LU6 1AZ, UK – 01582 666820

A lovely pub with a great atmosphere. It's somewhere to have a quiet drink or to have a large gathering of friends. The food and drink are reasonable priced, and are both of a high quality with a range of different options. The pub itself is always clean, with tables being cleared once everyone has finished. The building is quite large and has additional seating outside. The outside seating is either under a small lean to or under a parasol. Again, the outdoor seating is kept clean and tidy. The staff are all friendly and happy to serve. They all seem to enjoy working there.. and it shows. I would definitely recommend this pub!

Very nice place and pleasant staff. The food is delicious. Will always go hear when I'm in the area.

White Lion Pub

Watling St, Houghton Regis, Dunstable LU6 1RS, UK – 01582 663366

We stopped for lunch I had meatloaf it was so delicious my partner had chicken his was delicious too. We had a cheeseboard which was meant for 1 but there was plenty for 2 and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this pub it serves high quality food and was very clean.

A very enjoyable Sunday lunch to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. The staff were lovely, and brought out some delicious pre-dinner nibbles to our table in the garden, which were really appreciated. The roast beef was beautifully tender and lots of roast potatoes and gravy were provided. The only very slight criticism was that the pistachio cake was a bit dry (either a bit stale or overcooked - but still a nice taste). Overall, I really enjoyed it and would happily return!

The Glider Pub

65 Lowther road, Dunstable LU6 3ES, UK, Dunstable LU6 3NL, UK

Old estate pub haunt of mine from 25years ago, still showing signs of life , under new management ( think locals running it). Couple of real ales at a reasonable price & some old faces still frequenting it. Live football , pool table & darts with the odd live band & quiz.

Nice friendly atmosphere inside, from the outside it may look dated and unwelcoming but inside was very nice. Well lit, nice layout, good selection of ale and spirits. Will be going back.
